Dr. Deborah Mechanic

Dr. Deborah has been an integral part of the Back in Action family for over a decade. As well as Chiropractic, Dr. Deborah is a certified Integrated Acupuncture Practitioner, a Concussion Management Practitioner (Complete Concussion Management), Webster Techniques certified, as well as a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and a Cupping Massage Provider. She is also a registered yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance. 

 

Dr. Deborah excels in the assessment and treatment of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and is currently working with a team to enhance clinical resources in this area. Dr. Deborah also holds special training in bodywork for newborns, as well as women’s health, including pre and post natal care.  One of Dr. Deborah’s passions in practice is in the modification of movement and function; she finds a special interest in helping seniors, expectant moms, and individuals with limited ranges of motion achieve positions and movements that are otherwise unavailable to them.

  

Dr. Deborah practices an evidence-based, functional and diversified model of care; her individualized patient care consists of numerous types of therapies, treatment approaches, and exercise rehabilitation to get her patients back to feeling better and performing optimally.

Hobbies and Interests: 

When not in the office, Dr. Deborah enjoys hiking and yoga, as well as travelling. Dr. Deborah also partakes in lots of community involvement including charity events, fundraising, and awareness. Dr. Deborah also enjoys bringing this to the clinic and creating health related ways for the team to get involved in the charity world.
